As a kid growing up, Lam (real name Na Shuey Shyang) has always had an attachment with nature and the wilderness. After school hours, he would find every opportunity possible to spend time exploring what Mother Nature has to offer. It is his inquisitive mind that drove him to explore, discover and understand the natural things around him.

His passion and enthusiasm led him to further his studies in Taiwan Cheng Kung University and later graduated from the Faculty of Biology. He returned to Malaysia a few years ago with a desire to share and inspire others about nature through eco-tourism as well as to promote the concept of ecological conservation.

With his knowledge and involvement in the scouting movement during his schooling days, Lam has organized and successfully run numerous eco-learning camps and adventure learning camps for school groups since 2009. His nature guiding trips fuses the beauty of nature as well as local unique indigenous cultures to both local and foreign tourists. At the end of the day, Lam’s reward comes in the satisfaction feeling of having able to introduce the beauty of Malaysia’s unique wilderness to people from every corner of the world.

A licensed nature guide (by the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia), Lam is now based in southern state of Johor and is always happy to share his knowledge and experience with you.
